One company, the whole county
We are based in Crystal Lake and built around McHenry County. That means we know the housing stock — the older masonry chimneys downtown and in Woodstock and Marengo, the newer factory-built systems in Huntley and Lake in the Hills, the big rural stacks out in Bull Valley — and we carry the right equipment for all of it. Every service we offer is available across the whole area, at the prices published on our site, seven days a week.
No surprises on price or travel
Wherever you are in our service area, the number on the pricing page is the number. We do not add a travel charge for one town over another, and anything above a service’s starting price is explained and agreed before we begin.
Not sure whether you are in range? Call and ask, or send a request through the booking page with your town and we will tell you straight away.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which towns does Ace Chimney Service cover?
We work throughout McHenry County within roughly a ten-mile radius of Crystal Lake — Lake in the Hills, Algonquin, Cary, Woodstock, McHenry, Huntley, Fox River Grove, Lakewood, Island Lake, Prairie Grove, Oakwood Hills, Bull Valley, Wonder Lake, Marengo and the towns between.
Do you charge extra to travel to my town?
No. The service prices on our pricing page apply across our whole service area with no separate travel or call-out fee.
How do I know if I am in your service area?
If your town is on this page you are covered. If you are just outside it, call (815) 320-0883 and ask — we will give you a straight answer.
Can you come the same week?
From late spring through September, usually within a few days. From October the schedule tightens across the county, so book early for autumn.
Do you serve both older and newer neighborhoods?
Yes. The century-old masonry chimneys in Crystal Lake, Woodstock, and Marengo and the factory-built chimneys in newer Huntley and Lake in the Hills subdivisions need different things, and both are routine for us.
Are you available on weekends in my town?
Yes, seven days a week, 7am to 7pm, everywhere we serve.
Do you handle gas fireplaces everywhere you work?
Yes — wood and gas appliances alike, across the entire service area.
What is the best number to reach you?
Call (815) 320-0883 any day between 7am and 7pm, or use the online booking form and we will call you back.
